36 Kingsbury Place, St. Louis MO sells for $1,100,000

CWE Realtors Paul and Amy Mittelstadt sold this elegant private-place home in December, 2014 for $1,100,000.  The sale price of just over $213 per square foot is an excellent high price for a Central West End single-family home.  Kingsbury Place is one of the premier private streets in the CWE, with an elegant landscaped parkway separating the two lanes of the street, plus fabulous entry gates at the east end of the street.

Amy and I loved listing and selling this gorgeous home, both because of its fine interior amenities and its superb location.  It is located just 3 blocks from our beautifully-restored Forest Park.  Amy and I live on Maryland Plaza, just 2 blocks from Forest Park.  The park is truly one of the magnets that draws people to live in the CWE.  The park was established in the 1880’s, and the areas around it gradually became the most desirable places for real estate in the metropolitan area.  Some of the current amenities in Forest Park include parallel walking and biking paths, boating, golfing, fishing lakes, tennis, softball fields, baseball fields, soccer fields, ice skating, sledding and nature hiking.  And the institutions within Forest Park have become some of St. Louis’ most beloved destinations:  The St. Louis Zoo, The St. Louis Art Museum, The Steinberg Skating Rink, The Muny Opera, the Missouri History Museum, The St. Louis Science Center and the Jewel Box.

Amy and I would love to hear from you if you are contemplating either buying or selling a home in the Central West End.  We are CWE real estate experts, and we enjoy sharing our knowledge and experiences with our fellow neighbors and friends. We would love to talk with you!
